The First Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the funeral bells for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites have started writing regarding Sony's platform unprecedentedly. Last year proved to be complete chaos for the Xbox ecosystem. However, judging purely by the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company continues to plan to engage players with strong games on its premier subscription.

The Available Now Titles

The duo of games currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Major Titles on the Horizon

Starting January 13th, the platform will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "a superb mixture of terror and combat."

Intriguing Niche Additions

However, the more modest titles arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it merits a playthrough whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you remarkably quickly.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is another one to watch. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that justify the service by themselves. However, this batch of games are rock solid. There's a good mixture of past releases that passed you by and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they warranted upon launch — which makes them perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.

You might need to brace yourself to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
