In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
