A Pair of Suspects Accused for Prison Murder of Ex-Lostprophets Vocalist Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges in the wake of the incarceration fatality of ex-Lostprophets frontman and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
Samuel Dodsworth, 43, and Rashid Gedel, 25 now face murder accusations and are set to face Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by investigating officers.
Watkins, forty-eight, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after pleading guilty to multiple sexual crimes which included the tried rape of a very young child.
Watkins was taken into custody following a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were seized.
